I get it. However, these feelings are a normal response when you are overwhelmed, anxious, or dealing with constant change to your regular routines. Not to mention, some of you may be being asked to find new ways to adapt to these changes daily. Making it hard to stay on track, manage family obligations, or juggle various work or school schedules all time. Maybe you've tried several things to feel better, but you're not getting the results you want or feel discouraged with the outcome.
We've all been there, myself included. But, after A LOT of trial and error over many years, I finally found a new rhythm. As a result, I have helped many of my clients discover positive and effective ways to deal with stress when life throws them a curve, so they can get back on track and feel better again.
It's true, and sometimes we don't understand the language until it stops us in our tracks. However, with all the clients I have worked with over the last 20 years, I have seen so many ways stress has affected their bodies and lives in ways they didn't expect. As a result, I have learned how to interpret this language and become what I call a "mind/body" detective and teach my clients to do the same.
As you might imagine, the list of symptoms is pretty extensive. Some clients experience stress as chronic muscle tension in their neck, back, and shoulders or headaches, while others find it hard to sleep or lack focus. Many have described feeling lost or not feeling like themselves and unsure what to do about it. Over time if not addressed, it can affect our mood, relationships, communication, and how we think about ourselves.
But the good news is with an open mind and guidance. There is a way to make a shift and start to feel like yourself again.
